Nagarjuna reveals Naga Chaitanya met Sobhita Dhulipala for the first time; and it's way before ChaySam split

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are going to marry in the coming month in Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. Superstar Nagarjuna who is now in IFFI Goa 2024 said he first met Sobhita in 2018. It seems he had watched the movie, Goodachari, which is hailed as one of Tollywood’s best thrillers. He had invited Sobhita Dhulipala to his home to have a chat. He said that she came over and they had some wonderful conversations about movies and more. Nagarjuna was quoted as saying, “Chaitanya happened to walk in during one of her visits, and that’s when they met for the first time if I remember correctly.”

Sobhita Dhulipala who is from a Navy family in Vishakhapatnam came to Mumbai early in life. After a stint as a model, she made her debut in movies. Nagarjuna praised his would-be bahu saying, “She’s worked incredibly hard to achieve her dreams, starting from Vizag and carving out a niche for herself in the industry. She’s a brilliant actress who has stayed true to her values and craft. More than that, she’s very warm and grounded.”

Nagarjuna and Sobhita Dhulipala have a wonderful equation. He had called her ‘hot’ after he saw her in the movie Goodachari. The superstar praised her philosophy of living her life on her own terms. Nagarjuna said she is picky about the kind of work she wants to associate with, and is away from the rat race. He said, “She is very peaceful and content with her choices. I have received a lot of warmth from her, and I can see how happy they make each other.” Incidentally, when Nagarjuna and Sobhita met in 2018, Naga Chaitanya was happily married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

Fans went gaga seeing pictures of Sobhita Dhulipala’s Godhuma Raayi Pasupu Danchatam ceremony last month. She wore a saree gifted to her by Lakshmi Daggubati. They have started making joint appearances. She was seen with the family at the ANR National Awards 2024 last month.
