Naga Chaitanya's love for Goa was a constant in his relationships with Sobhita Dhulipala, Samantha Ruth Prabhu

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got married on December 4, 2024. There was a lot of curiosity about how the two met. Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu got separated in 2021 much to the dismay of their fans. It seems friendship blossomed between Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala began talking on Instagram from April 2022. The actor has told The New York Times that after bonding on sushi, the two got chatting in Telugu. It seems Naga Chaitanya fell for her Telugu vocabulary and how rooted she was to her heritage and culture. He told the paper, “So when something pops up that’s very organic and real about a person, I immediately gravitate to that kind of content.”

After talking on social media for a while, where Sobhita Dhulipala was awed by how he replied to her Instagram stories, they met in Mumbai. He flew down to Mumbai to meet her in a café one day, a gesture she found old-school and charming. Then, they met at the Amazon Prime event and felt what they had was truly something special. The first outing of the couple was at the Bandipur National Park in Karnataka. Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala spent days lazing at the retreat painting one another’s hands with heena.

The couple later went to London to celebrate his birthday. Then, she met the Akkineni family on New Year’s Eve. Sobhita Dhulipala had met Nagarjuna before at his residence when she briefly interacted with Naga Chaitanya. In the following year, Naga Chaitanya also met up with Sobhita Dhulipala’s family members. It was evident that they wanted to be together. The actress said, “There is alignment, there’s chemistry, there’s curiosity. And it became obvious that our dissimilarities kept the tension alive in good ways and bad. We definitely wanted each other — that much was understood.”

In August 2024, he proposed to Sobhita Dhulipala for marriage in Goa. This happened seven years after his first marriage to Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the tropical paradise. They had married in the gorgeous W Resort and in an expensive lavish wedding. While the marriage ended after four years, the state of Goa has proved to be a constant in Naga Chaitanya's romantic history.
