#NachBaliye8: Sanaya Irani - Mohit Sehgal speak up why did they choose the Acid Attack Survivor act!

In the upcoming week of Star Plus' celebrity couple dance reality show, Nach Baliye 8, Sanaya Irani - Mohit Sehgal will be seen performing an act based on the life of an acid attack survivor who is now happily married and is content with life.

We quizzed Sanaya about the same and when asked about how did the idea come into being, here's what she had to say, "There's nothing much we did. I guess a couple of weeks back, I read about one of the acid attack survivors, Lalita in the paper and that she got married recently. And, when I read it, I was so happy. I saw the picture where she was dressed as a bride and that was amazing."

"In fact, we had plans to do an act based on this concept already and then Sanaya saw it in the newspaper later," added Mohit.

Sanaya also added, "People in India always go by the looks. They judge the girl as being pretty or fair or short etc... But what they never say is she is that she is intelligent, or may be she is an amazing personality. And I wanted to bring forward that the way looks are given so much importance and that in the current day, defines those people's self-esteem. So when something like that happens, it not only kills their outer look but also kills who they are."

"So yes, I really wanted to do something on this and even when Nishant asked me if I would do that to my face I told him, of course, I would, are you crazy? It's an insult for an actor to not be able to do such a thing," added Sanaya.
