Star Plus' celebrity dance reality show, Nach Baliye 8 has finally reached its finale and it has sure been an eventful journey for all the contestants including the finalists Mohit Sehgal - Sanaya Irani, Sanam Johar - Abigail Pandey and Divyanka Tripathi - Vivek Dahiya.

Last week, we brought to you all the highlights of Shoaib - Dipika's journey, and today, we are here with the roller coaster journey of finalists Mohit - Sanaya.

A rather Low Start!

The duo, though they seemed to be one of the most promising couples on Nach Baliye, had a rather low start with one of the lowest scores in their opening episode. Who knew what the show had in store for them?

And the volley of praises began...

Though they did not start off on a very high note, their graph on the show has been subsequently only going high. For the act where Sanaya turned a doll, judge Mohit Suri was left spell bound and in the following act, the judges indeed got to see a never-seen-before avatar of the duo as they danced on a sensuous jaane ki zidd na karo!

Their act on Mumbai 26/11 attacks leaves everyone teary eyed!

Parineeti Chopra graced the Nach Baliye stage and well, Mohit - Sanaya left the actress in tears with their act which was a dedication to the soldiers and to everyone who suffered a loss during the Mumbai 26/11 attacks.

And their first PERFECT 30 came along with a STANDING OVATION!

The phrase - 'Better late than never' came true for the duo as they managed to get their perfect 30 much later than the other couples, but when they did, they got it with a standing ovation from the judges and the co-contestants. The theme for that week was Bollywood and they had a stupendous horror act on the song aaj jaane ki zidd mat karo to present to us.

This one was in the list of Sonakshi's favourites form the season already!

One of the coolest GENDER - BENT act followed by a SHIMMY that the duo nailed!

Another perfect 30 for the duo came in the form of a gender bent act they performed with their choreographer in teen ka tadka. We loved how the gender bent costumes here do not revolve around the typical cross-dressing on TV.

And of course, their shimmy was amazing, definitely more than what we could have thought of.

Finished off the semi-finals like a boss!

They turned out to be the finalists with their performances which were equal amounts, hot and on point. The performance where they were tied to each other as a challenge in the form of judge Sonakshi Sinha was sure a heart winner.

And now, the votes have been made; all we await for is the FINALE to arrive. With each day passing by, the inquisitiveness keeps building up, doesn't it?
