Oscar winning 'Life Of Pi' composer Mychael Danna creates soundtrack for Disney's The Good Dinosaur!!

Disney-Pixar's THE GOOD DINOSAUR features an original score by Oscar-winning composer 'Life Of Pi' Mychael Danna and Emmy-nominated composer Jeff Danna.

Releasing on 4th December, THE GOOD DINOSAUR asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo (voice of Raymond Ochoa) makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.

Directed by Peter Sohn, Disney-Pixar's THE GOOD DINOSAUR opens in theaters on 4th December 2015. Mychael Danna is an Academy Award-winning film composer recognized for his evocative blending of non-western traditions with orchestral and electronic music. He invited his younger brother Jeff, 50, to join him in The Good Dinosaur challenge, and Jeff didn't hesitate. "When we first met with the (Pixar) team, they said, 'Give us tunes and melodies that get to the heart of the story,'" says Mychael "But within that we wanted to make an orchestral score because the vistas are huge in the movie and we wanted the three-dimensional affect of a large orchestra, but with lots of alternate colours." he continues.

Catch the soundtrack as The Good Dinosaur releases on 4th December 2015!
