My neighbours thought I really got married - Riya Bhattacharje, who got married in Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey

The Star Plus show Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey has been entertaining the audience with its twists and turns. Recently, a wedding sequence between Akriti (Riya) and Anubhav took place in the show. Actress Riya Bhattacharje recently got in touch with us and revealed a funny incident that happened with her. She says that her neighbours thought she got married for real.

Riya is essaying the role of Akriti Saxena on the show. She is Garima and Shankar's daughter and Gungun's cousin. Akriti recently got married to her love Anubhav and that's how the track has been going forward right now.

Sharing a funny incident that happened with her, the actress says, 

"Recently, I got married on-screen, so my look for the show has completely changed. I had to wear a saree, bangles, sindoor and mangalsutra as per my role in the show. For 11-12 hours a day, I wear these things. One day, a very funny incident happened to me. After the pack-up, I went home and suddenly my neighbours started staring at me. One of them came and asked me, "Did you get married?" And I was completely clueless as to what they were talking about. They pointed out at my forehead and then I realised that I forget to remove the sindoor. My neighbours thought I had really got married, but I told them I am not married, it's just for the show. And my laughter at that time was really uncontrollable. I even shared the incident with my mother, who bursted out laughing loudly."

Talking about the feedback she receives for the show, the actress says, "The feedback for my performance in the show is amazing. I receive so many messages from people appreciating me for my performance. I am loving the current track as the show is offering various twists and turns to the audiences."

Riya made her television debut with the show Agni Vayu and has also been seen a part of shows like 'Ishq Mein Marjawan 2' and 'Nath.' As for Kabhi Kabhie Iitefaq Sey, it stars Riya Bhattacharje, Yesha Rughani, and Manan Joshi in pivotal roles.
