My co-stars had organized a surprise party for me - Rahul Sharma

The good looking and popular actor Rahul Sharma who is currently seen as Raghav in Shashi Sumeet Productions' popular show Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi on Sony Pal, turned a year older yesterday and celebrated his birthday with the cast of the show.

The birthday boy received a nice surprise party from his co-stars and he had a blast celebrating birthday with all of them. It looks like it has been the birthday celebration ever for Rahul Sharma.

TellyBuzz spoke to Rahul to know about his birthday celebrations and more...

An elated Rahul told us, "My co-stars especially Preeti (Preeti Chaudhary), Anjali (Anjali Mukhi) and Amrita (Amrita Prakash) had organized a surprise party for me. They decorated my home  keeping it a secret from me. When I reached home at night and I was surprised to see the entire decoration. They had arranged everything from decoration to food. I was surprised and felt very happy to see all that. Its great to have such a nice team who cares and does so much for you. Soon after I entered my house, everybody else entered my home with cakes and candles blowing on it. There were around 15 people. A few people from my previous show Ek Ghar Banaunga too joined in the party and I had a blast. I hosted a birthday bash for my close friends."

Rahul also received lots of gifts from his loved ones. When asked Rahul about the same, he added, "I have received many gifts from my Mom, Dad and am yet to unwrap it. I guess its some electronic gadget. Ishita (Ishita Dutta) has gifted me a hukkah on my birthday and she has one more gift pending with which she will gift me later. I am excited to know what it would be. She is not in town and I am missing her. I have received lots of gifts like chocolates, cookies and many other things which are essential for my use but the best gift I have ever received was this surprise party."

Thanking all his fans for the wishes on his birthday, he said, "I would like to thank all of you for showering so much of love and blessings upon me on my birthday. Hope I will keep doing good work and keep entertaining all of them. I am being showered with so much of love from everyone today and I am really thankful to all for that."
