My character is actually not negative at all - Viraj Nanda on 'Bade Acche Lagte Hai 3'

Viraj Nanda is currently seen in Sony TV's Bade ache Lagte hai Season 3 as Akhil. The actor, who was last seen in the show Yeh Dil Maange More is looking forward to his new role, which is very different from what he has done so far.

"I am glad that there is something new that I will be trying with this new show. I am sure that every actor wants to do something new each time they take up a project in any medium, and it is the same with me. Here my character Akhil is an ambitious guy who looks for shortcuts to get rich. Also, there is a grey shade to my character, which makes it mysterious. But there is a reason which one will only understand when they watch the show. My character is actually not negative at all; rather it’s more on the fun side.”

Viraj added, “There is a process to prepare for any role which starts from within, and getting into any character is a spiritual journey. I connect a lot with Akhil on a personal level, as there is a story behind why Akhil is the way he is. Akhil means Complete, but there is a part inside him that he’s still exploring. 

My last role was an army-based romantic character, and the audience reacted to it a lot. They reached out and told me what they felt. So I personally enjoy doing such roles because there's a lot I can do as an actor. Apart from that, I also wish to play an action-oriented role; that's something I haven't done yet," he shares.
