Mukkabaaz actor Vineet Kumar Singh shares how 2024 was for him, his new year plans, resolutions and more

As the new year draws near, actor Vineet Kumar Singh, the talented actor from Mukkabaaz, got in a candid chat with us and delved into his experiences in 2024, unveiled his resolutions for the approaching year, giving a personal insight into his plans and aspirations.

• How would you describe your 2024 as?

2024 has been like a runway for me, a year of incredible opportunities and experiences. I’ve met so many new people, made wonderful friends, and worked with some great production houses I’ve always wanted to collaborate with. The production houses that have created some amazing and successful films. Right now, I’m working on a film titled Jaat with Mythri Movie Makers, the same production house behind films like Pushpa. This year, I’ve completed shooting for Chhaava, Superboys of Malegaon, and Match Fixing. I’ve done so many shoots, traveled a lot, and worked extensively throughout 2024. All of this will be visible to audiences in 2025. So yes, in many ways, 2024 has truly been like a runway for me.

• What are your New Year celebration plans?

As mentioned, 2024 was a year full of non-stop work for me. It was all about shoots and traveling throughout the year. Now that I'm back in Mumbai, I plan to ring in New Year 2025 at home with my wife. I was shooting in Karnataka earlier, but being back home, I'm excited to spend this time with her. However, from 2nd January onwards, I'll be caught up in promoting my film Match Fixing, scheduled to hit theaters on 10th January. So, this New Year's will be a cozy celebration at home with my wife before diving back into the promotional whirlwind.

• Are you a resolution maker? If yes then what’s your resolution for 2025?

I usually don't set resolutions because each film brings its own set of challenges. Whether it's gaining or losing weight for a role, my lifestyle adapts to meet the demands of the project. However, this year, I want to focus on reading more books. While scripts take up much of my reading time, I aim to make space for other types of literature—a sort of resolution for me. Another goal for 2025 is to prioritize carving out time for myself. Amidst continuous shoots, finding moments to unwind and connect with family and friends is crucial. My objective is to strike a better balance between work and personal life this year.
