Netflix's Mrs. Serial Killer is a gripping piece starring Jacqueline Fernandez, Manoj Bajpayee and Mohit Raina in the main lead. The film is directed by Shirish Kunder.
The story stars off when a number of murders are committed where unmarried, pregnant women are killed along with their fetus and buried inside the ground. When Sona's (Jacqueline Fernandez) husband in the show is framed for the heinous murders, she takes the charge of being a loyal wife and takes up the challenge of performing a murder exactly like the serial killer to prove her husband innocence.
The story stars of with Jacqueline announcing her pregnancy to her doctor husband (Manoj Bajpayee) in a way which will give you a gist about the characters in the film. As the story progress, you'll witness a number of twists in the plot but it wouldn't be too difficult to predict the end result.
Imran's plot (Mohit Raina) in the series will surely bring a certain level of thrill and suspense and you would wish to see more of it in the storyline.
The series stars off on an extremely gripping note which will make you sit at the edge of your seat. However, in the middle, the plot seems to get stretched a little, making the viewers lose interest in the main storyline. After an engaging start, the plot becomes predictable to a great extent.
The series consists of its own shares of ups and downs but it will compel you to watch till the every end to get through the main suspense of the film. The story though becomes tiresome after a while, can be counted as a one time watch.
Manoj Bajpayee and Mohit Raina have showcased their brilliant performance yet again with Mrs. Serial Killer. Jacqueline Fernandez manages to play a convincing role, though her acting falls flat at some places.
Verdict- Mrs. Serial Killer can be counted as a one time watch.
