Mothers too have FLAWS: Maria Goretti

Actor Arshad Warsis wife Maria Goretti says mothers are perceived as an embodiment of perfection, but they too have flaws.

Maria, who has two children with Arshad, has come up with a video titled "So Basically...6 Mantras Of A Perfect Mom" in which she has talked about various roles and expectations of a mother.

The video was released on Culture Machine's digital channel Blush on Friday.

"Mothers are perceived as an embodiment of perfection, but we often forget that mothers are also humans and hence flawed," Maria said in a statement.

"I am a mother and although my children are the best thing that could have happened to me, at times I want to take a break and indulge in my flaws and imperfections.

"The video celebrates the 'other side' of motherhood in all its glory. Putting my cards on the table, and telling society, it's OK to not be the one with all the correct answers all the time," she added.
