Mona Singh Was the First Choice to Star Opposite Sunny Deol in Lahore 1947

"Lahore 1947" directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and backed by Aamir Khan Productions, has officially wrapped up filming. The film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Aamir Khan, Ali Fazal, Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta in important roles.

According to the reports of Filmfare, Mona Singh was originally cast in the film but ultimately couldn't commit due to the clashes in her schedule. Mona Singh’s audition for Lahore 1947 impressed the casting directors and crew, leading to her being cast opposite Sunny Deol. However, due to scheduling conflicts, she ultimately couldn't take on the role.

On the workfront, Mona Singh will be next seen in Paan Parda Zarda, Maa Ka Sum and was recently confirmed alongside Varun Sobti in Kohrra Season 2.
