Mom-to-be Kiara Advani Visits Ayan Mukerji's Home to Offer Condolences

Ayan Mukerji's father, Deb Mukherjee, passed away on March 14, 2025. Family and friends visited Ayan's home and later the funeral site to pay their respects yesterday. Now, expectant mother Kiara Advani, who is working with Ayan on the film "War 2," has been seen arriving at his residence to offer condolences.

On March 15, Kiara Advani was seen arriving at Ayan Mukerji's home in her car. The actress was dressed in a white shirt and loose pants. She was seen greeting someone at the entrance of the house.

Yesterday, Kiara Advani's "War 2" co-star Hrithik Roshan was spotted at the cremation ground for the final rites of Deb Mukherjee. The actor was seen walking on crutches. Hrithik reportedly sustained a leg injury during dance rehearsals for the film.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who had traveled to Alibaug for Alia's birthday celebrations, quickly returned to Mumbai. The couple visited their close friend Ayan Mukerji's home to support him during this difficult time and later attended his father's funeral. Ranbir has worked with the filmmaker on several movies, while Alia collaborated with him on "Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva."

Deb Mukherjee was married twice. From his first marriage, he had a daughter, Sunita, who is married to renowned director Ashutosh Gowariker. His second marriage gave him a son, Ayan Mukerji, who has made a significant mark in Bollywood with films like 'Wake Up Sid,' 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,' and 'Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva.'

Meanwhile, speaking about his son, Ayan Mukerji, the filmmaker is currently filming War 2 with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. After wrapping up this shooting schedule, Ayan is likely to start the pre-production work of Brahmastra 2. On Thursday, Ranbir Kapoor confirmed the same, when he also shared a major update on Brahmastra's sequel.
