The much-anticipated sequel to Anurag Basu's delightful "Life in a Metro" (2007) has shifted gears, leaving fans on the edge of their seats. Originally slated for a December 8, 2023, release, the creators dropped a bombshell last July, announcing a delay that pushed the film's premiere to March 29, 2024. However, March seems to be out of the equation now, as the revamped 'Metro...In Dino' has unveiled a fresh release date of September 13, 2024, promising to enthral audiences with contemporary love tales.

Rumors have circulated that Anurag Basu is contemplating reshooting certain segments, expressing dissatisfaction with the initial rushes. Furthermore, speculation suggests that music director Pritam is yet to compose any songs for the film. However, producer Bhushan Kumar promptly dismissed these claims as baseless, asserting that only 30 days of shooting, encompassing both songs and talkie portions, remain to be completed in March-April. Kumar emphasized that Pritam has already begun crafting some tracks for the film, dispelling concerns about the music.

Addressing the speculation, Basu clarified that he has not undertaken reshoots for any of his films to date. The director revealed that certain portions involving Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh are pending, and he is diligently working with other actors to finalize their stories and songs.
