'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi' director gets injured!

Popular director Anil V Kumar injured and is on bed rest...

Renowned director of Balaji clan, who has directed many popular shows like 'Kahi Toh Hoga', 'Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki' and ' Kkusum' recently injured himself.

Anil V Kumar, who was directing popular show 'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi' was all set to start working on his next project- Kasam, a new show on Colors. However, the plan got delayed as he got injured while he was holidaying at his Lonavala house.

Anil will soon resume shooting as soon as he gets well.

We contacted Anil V Kumar who told us, "I was supposed to start the new show of Balaji Telefilms on Colors (Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki) but unfortunately, the very next day of our outdoor shoot, I met with an accident in my house at Lonavala. I fell down and ended up fracturing my spinal cord. By God's grace my recovery is faster and smoother."

"I am completely on bed rest. But the show must go on and the launch is also too close. Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Ma'am have stood by me all this while and I am thankful to them and feel blessed to be associated with the organisation. The journey has already begun, hoping to resume as soon as I can and take it ahead from there."

We wish Anil a speedy recovery.
