Meet the man who will play the FATHER to Shaheer Sheikh in 'Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke'

It is barely been less than a day but the kind of rage and excitement that Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke's promo has created already is certainly amazing. Yesterday, the introductory promo of Mishti (Rhea Sharma) as introduced by Naira (Shivangi Joshi) went live and it has been a waiting game ever since.

This also means that the show will be going on-air sooner rather than later thus enabling a barrage of actors being roped in already and a few set to enter.

The latest entrant in the show is none other than veteran Deepak Gheewala. Deepak has been on the tube for umpteen years and has in face been in several shows including the legendary show Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka and most recenty in R.K. Laxman Ki Duniya. Deepak will be seen playing the role of male patriarch of the male lead, Shaheer's family. Deepak will be the father to Shaheer and Ritvik Arora's characters.

Also known, Rupal Patel of Saath Nibhana Saathiya fame will be the mother to Shaheer and the negative lead too.
