Director: Kashmera Shah

Cast: Krushna, Kashmera Shah, Rishaab Chauhaan, Rajesh Puri, Kishwer Merchantt & Kiran Kumar

How far can you go to finish your life when there is no reason to live left?

Actress turned director Kashmera Shah brings you a social comedy Marrne Bhi Do Yaaron which has a huge amount of laughter, a beautiful message but pace of the film is the prick.

Raj Kiran (Rishaab Chauhaan), a middle-class guy, son of a shop owner aspires to go to Greece and work there. However, his father Kiran Kumar, who runs a small confectionery store is in two minds to send his son abroad but finally agrees and sends Raj off to Greece. But destiny has its own game and decides to finish his life when things didn’t shape up as per Raj’s wish.

Anita (Kashmera Shah) rescues Raj and offers him a contract to help him in seeking death. What happens next forms the rest of the crux!

Popular stand-up comedian-actor Krushna Abhishek, who plays the role of ‘Time’, is like a breath of fresh air. His extended cameo brings joy and distracts from the slow pace of the film. The first half is too slow and the director takes too much liberty to build up the characters. The second half picks up and is an amalgam of laughter and tears.

Kashmera Shah, who marked her directorial debut with this movie, has made a decent effort. Her idea to celebrate life touches you. Dialogues penned by her are conversational and relatable. Although, she is just about okay as a vibrant and full of life Anita.

Debutant Rishaab Chauhaan is quite impressive for his first film. His hard work on his 6-pack abs body and dialogue deliveries are visible. His screen presence is fine but needs to work on his facial expressions. Rajesh Puri, Kiran Kumar and Kishwer Merchantt are good.

DOP Neelabh Kaul has done a fantastic job as the film is shot well in the scenic beauty of Greece. The film looks grand and expensive. Interestingly, the songs of the film are sung by singing stalwarts Mika, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh among others but Ae Dil Zara stays back with you.
