Geeta Devi, the mother of Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee, passed away at 8:30 a.m. on December 8. She was 80 years old and had been experiencing health issues recently. In Vaishali's Max Super Speciality Hospital, she was receiving treatment. She is survived by three sons and three daughters. 

Talking about Manoj's personal life, he was born in Belwa, in the Bihar district of West Champaran. He relocated to Delhi to enroll in the National School of Drama and afterward migrated to Mumbai to pursue his acting career. He has established himself as a renowned Bollywood star today and has given several incredible performances. Poonam Dubey, Manoj's younger sister, is a well-known fashion designer in the Indian film business.

Manoj, who had a close relationship with his parents, earlier admitted in an interview that he missed them while he accepted his third National Award at the 67th National Film Awards.

The actor spoke candidly about feelings he had gone through after winning his third Best Actor award. He stated that there was no one from his family's side, so he felt alone. Shabana, his wife, and his kid were meant to accompany him, but they were unable to make it. He was home sick throughout the award ceremony and really missed his folks.

On the professional front, Manoj recently revealed that the working title of his upcoming courtroom drama is Bandaa. Bhanushali Studios Limited, Suparn S and Vinod Bhanushali are producing the movie.
