Manoj Bajpayee reveals how he almost turned down the role of Srikant Tiwari

Manoj Bajpayee starrer 'The Family Man,' is without a doubt one of the most popular web series we've had so far. The actor has also received a lot of love and adoration from his fans for his role in the series as Srikant Tiwari. 

But did you know that Bajpayee almost turned down the role for some reason? Yes, you read that correctly. Speaking at a panel discussion on the sidelines of India's ongoing International Film Festival (IFFI), the actor revealed that when he was approached for the series, he was hesitant because the content was confined to a web template. 

According to him, he wasn't sure what he wanted to be a part of, but he was certain about what he didn't want to be a part of. Although a few of the series sparked a lot of interest and excitement among viewers, the actor explained that there was a template that the creators were following, which included blood, gore, and pistols. 

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who appeared on the show during its second season, discussed taking a risk with the show. 

According to her, the actress decided to take a risk in order to advance her career as an actor, and that doing 'The Family Man' has benefited her greatly because it has opened up many new doors for her. Apart from them, Priyamani played the lead role in the show.
