Manisha Saxena gives an insight into her character Shruti in Dangal TV's show Milke Bhi Hum Na Mile

Actress Manisha Saxena, who last spread the magic with her acting abilities in the show Mann Sundar, has returned back to television after a year. She is currently seen as the lead in the Dangal TV show- Milke bhi hum na mile. The show went on-air recently and has been doing pretty well among the audience.

Speaking of her character, Manisha says, “Shruti is someone who is full of energy and love. She is pretty bubbly, stylish and rich. Shruti is educated but dumb too because she finds no need to study too much as she believes every answer is available on Google. The character I am playing is pretty interesting and multi-layered.”

Further revealing what intrigued her to take up this project, the actress says,” This character is relatable to Kareena Kapoor’s character-Poo so it intrigued me. So it excited the actor in me to play this role.  Apart from this, the team, the storyline, the characteristics of my character, everything made me say a big yes. My character and totality of the show inclined my affirmation towards the show.”

On the workfront, Manisha is known for MTV India's reality show MTV Love School. She also received immense love and praise for her performance in the Amazon Prime series- Crime Aaj Kal season 2. Manisha was also a part of shows Pehredaar Piya Ki, Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya, Mangalam Dangalam and RadhaKrishn.
