Mallika-E-Kitchen on COLORS..

It's now time to showcase your cooking skills on television with COLORS' new show Mallika-E-Kitchen, launching on 12th July, Sunday at 12 noon.

The pretty damsel Shruti Seth who has entertained the audience as host of Comedy Circus will be seen anchoring the cookery show, which will basically involve a competition between traditional cooking and microwave cooking.

According to our source, "Gone are the days when we thought that microwaves can be used only for heating purposes. In every episode of this show, there will be two people cooking the same dish in the allotted 20 minutes; the only difference being that one will be using the gas while the other will cook on microwave. The famous chef Kaviraj Khilani will be there to monitor the cooking process. Every episode will have a celebrity judge who will taste the food and decide on the winner".

We talked to Shruti the host of the show who said, "It's very exciting to host the cookery show. I get to taste lot many awesome dishes and being a complete foodie, this is really enjoyable. The show will also provide viewers with cookery tips, decent recipes etc".

On the celebrity judges who can be expected on the show, Shruti states, "Aman Verma, Tanaz and Bakhtiyar, Monica Bedi, Ehsaan Qureshi, Roshni Chopra, Mona Singh, Sudha Shivpuri are few of the celebrities who will be seen in the show".

The show will be aired every Sunday and will be a 13-episode series.
