Major creative changes in Star Plus show 'Imlie' post Gashmeer Mahajani's exit
Gear up for a handful of creative changes in Star Plus show ‘Imlie’ as actor Gashmeer Mahajani opts out of the show.

India Forums is back with an interesting update from the world of television.
Star Plus show ‘Imlie’ is one of the most loved and most viewed shows of Indian Television. The show features actors Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Gashmeer Mahajani and Fahmaan Khan in the lead roles. The news of actor Gashmeer who plays the character of Aditya Kumar Tripathi quitting the show came as a shock for the viewers. Well, the grapevine is abuzz that the makers have roped in actor Manasvi Vsishth to replace Mahajani as Aditya in the show.
The buzz is also that Mahajani has already shot for his last day on the sets of ‘Imlie’. Now, India Forums have learned about an important development in the show. We noticed that the end page of the show has been changed. Earlier the end page had Imlie, Aditya and Malini’s pictures while the new end page consists only Imlie flashing her million-dollar smile.

After investigating further, we came to know that the makers and the channel have made a few very important creative changes in the show post Gashmeer’s exit. According to our sources close to the sets, the future story of the show will entirely focus on Imlie. Only Imlie’s character will get prominence.
Sources also suggest that most of the family members from the Tripathi family might slowly fade-out as the story shifts focus on Imlie and her inspiring journey from hereon.
We tried contacting the actors, producer and channel’s spokesperson but didn’t receive any concrete reply.

I wish , hope and pray that with revamp it permanently gets 3.5 - 4.0 range ratings and at least stays 8.30 slot leader for 5 years minimum. Then they can show generation leap and make Sumbul again play daughter of Imlie .

Music to my ears. Finally the CVs realized what the name of the show was all along. I hope this means less Tripathis and way less Malini going forward. This story should be about Imlie's progress - in Aryan's world. Muhahaha!

It’s too bad he left. Gul Khan seems to get male leads who want to do movies. If that’s the case, then why start this show? Now the chemistry will be difficult with the new guy. I hope they show Imlie’s journey with Aryan in her life somehow and never revisit her and Aditya again. It just won’t work. As far as the family, they’ve already had some members disappear, but I think the core family will stay around. The makers can show her journey and growth in parallel to Adi and Malini’s crash and burn marriage.

If they to show this, then they could done this at the start itself!! Instead of showing adi fall in love with Imli, they could have shown Imli progressing and succeeding in her life post Adilini marriage!

they should have just ended the show in happy ending...instead of simply dragging unnecessary...without original male lead, not a single show is wrth watching...from start they said..its imliya jourey....Adita only took half yr to fall in love with imly..& now again its same

Jokes apart...Even I don't think makers are taking such step. In the montage, still Imlie was given a tribal look and even the three dots in the chin was unchanged and so is the background. If they are really doing this so, Imlie must be someone staying in city which is her dream so her look should be modified... If not, womanhandling and kuch bhi...

Ye India forum ne konsa maal foonka hai. I also need that. All channel did was paste Imli's photo in orignal montage and they call it major change. They did not get in touch with anyone that is involved in the show, not actors, not makers, not creative team, none. It seems as if some silly teeneagers were gossiping and suddenly they turned that into an article.😂😂
