Mahesh Bhatt seeks Rs.1 Crore damages against Luveina Lodh over ‘false, defamatory allegations’

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has reportedly taken the legal route to fight against Luviena Lodh and her allegations.

Actress Luveina Lodh had released a video where she stated that she is married to Mahesh Bhatt's nephew Sumit Sabharwal made some serious allegations against the Bhatt family.

As per the latest update, Mahesh Bhatt has moved a civil suit before the Bombay High Court against the actress and seekss Ra. 1 crore damages and order restraining her from making any ‘distasteful, patently false, grossly defamatory, slanderous allegations’ against him.The case is to be heard on November 16.

In her video, Luveina had alleged Mahesh Bhatt of harassment and accused her estranged husband of supplying drugs to actors like Amyra Dastur, Sapna Pabbi and others.

She also said in her video: “Mahesh Bhatt has destroyed many careers including actors, directors and composers. He makes one phone call from behind and people lose their jobs. He has destroyed many lives.

If tomorrow anything happens to me or my family, the only people who are responsible are Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt, Sumit Sabharwal, Sahil Saigal, Kumkum Saigal ."
