Madhavan to celebrate birthday in Pune

Actor R. Madhavan, who turned 46 on Wednesday, will be celebrating his birthday with family and friends here.

The actor's close friends will be coming from different cities to throw a celebratory bash for him, involving a game of golf at one of the oldest golf courses in the country, spread across 96 acres.

"Another year older and I feel extremely lucky and very blessed to be surrounded by my closest friends and family. Some great food, my favourite sport and great company," Madhavan said in a statement.

Madhavan has films like "Tanu Weds Manu Returns", "3 Idiots", "Rang De Basanti" and "Saala Khadoos" to his credit.
