Ma Anand Sheela sends a legal notice to Priyanka Chopra; Doesn't want PC to play her

Movie based on the life of Ma Anand Sheela is in works since a long time. Her biopic is much awaited not just by the fans but by the stars working in the movie as well. As we checked last, it was our desi girl Priyanka Chopra who was essaying the role of Ma Anand Sheela in the biopic. Priyanka has confirmed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she will be a part of this American director, Barry Levinson’s feature film. 

But now comes the twist. Ma Anand Sheela revealed in an interview with Hindustan Times that she has not consented to the same and has not given permission to Priyanka to play her in the movie. She said,“I told her I do not give her permission to do [the] film because I have not chosen her... In Switzerland, we send legal notices very simply. I sent her an email which is accepted there as legal.” 

Ma Anand Sheela also said that neither Priyanka Chopra Jonas nor her team has responded to the notice she sent. With regards to it she further said, “No, never. Not even a courtesy letter that they received my notice but that’s not an issue, maybe she never had the opportunity to meet me or make time to meet me and it is no big issue... not everybody has the time to meet me.” 

If not Priyanka then who to play her? Well, Sheela Birnstiel opines that Alia Bhatt has got what it takes to essay her.
