'LOC Kargil' clocks 20: Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Esha Deol take a trip down the memory lane

Celebrating two decades of cinematic valor, the iconic film 'LOC Kargil' resonates as a poignant tribute to the courage and sacrifices made during the Kargil War between India and Pakistan. Directed by J.P. Dutta, the 2003 release boasts an ensemble cast of Bollywood luminaries, including Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Esha Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, and more, who recently took a nostalgic journey down memory lane on the film's 20th anniversary.

Ajay Devgn, a pivotal figure in the film, shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures on Instagram, reflecting on the scars that serve as a testament to the battles fought. In a heartfelt caption, he expressed gratitude for the journey, memories, and friendships forged during the making of the film. It read, “#20YearsOFLOCKargil, thank you for the scars that serve as a reminder of the battles fought... grateful for the journey, the memories, and the friends I made along the way.” 

Abhishek Bachchan, who played a significant role in "LOC Kargil," also commemorated the milestone with a multi-picture post from the shoot diaries. Expressing disbelief at the passage of time, he acknowledged the great memories created during the filming process. Bachchan thanked director J.P. Dutta for choosing him and providing the opportunity to narrate the stories of India's true heroes in the armed forces.

Esha Deol, another integral part of the cast, took to Instagram to share a multi-picture post, expressing her gratitude to J.P. Dutta for entrusting her with the emotional role of Dimple. Her caption read, #20yearsoflockargil JP Dutta ji thank you for trusting me with the most emotional role of Dimple .. this was one of my most memorable experiences as an actor.. working opposite Abhishek for the first time @bachchan where he played Vikram batra to perfection ( AB it’s 20 to us too as co actors 👍🏼😊 ) simply an unforgettable journey filming LOC kargil .
