Laughter Chefs 2: Karan Kundrra, Aly Goni, Arjun Bijlani sorely missed by viewers? Fans slam 'Bakwas Casting'

Laughter Chefs was one of the big hits of 2024 for Indian TV. No one expected much from the show but it got more and more viewers with its dose of entertainment and humour. Second season has got underway since last evening with new faces. Karan Kundrra, Aly Goni and Arjun Bijlani are no longer a part of the same. The new batch has Rubina Dilaik, Ankita Lokhande, Abdu Rozik, Elvish Yadav and Mannara Chopra. Fans who have seen the first show are complaining that they are just not as organically entertaining as the former cast. They are sorely missing the bonhomie of Arjun Bijlani, Rahul Vaidya, Aly Goni and Karan Kundrra.

Fans have said that it is found to connect with the new lot of contestants. They felt that the new lot of trying too hard to bring in the entertainment quotient but faltering. Also, some opined that Rubina Dilaik seems to be in a mood to play Bigg Boss here as well. This has become a common complaint in all Colors’ reality show. There is no denying that the first season was a real joy to watch. After a long time, we saw a truly entertaining show on Indian TV. Everyone had fantastic bonding, which translated on screen. Many fans have called out makers for bringing Elvish Yadav on the show. They believe ITV shows should only stick to TV people as they have a genuine connect with their loyal fans.

Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa conceived the show, and it is from their production house. We guess that old fans may take a week or two to get used to the new cast who are also getting a hang of the show. Rubina Dilaik has made a comeback after the delivery of her twin daughters in 2023.
