Kumkum Bhagya records LOWEST TRPs after 11 YEARS of launch, viewers REJECT Pranali Rathod-Akshay Bindra?

Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya has been one of the longest running shows on the channel. Spanning for over 10 years now, the show is currently in its fourth generation post the recent generation leap introduced in the show. After this leap, while Abrar Qazi and Rachi Sharma called it quits, Pranali Rathod and Akshay Bindra were introduced as the new leads.

While the makers of the show were pretty hopeful with the new cast and the overall revamp of the show, looks like, there is currently only disappointments in store for them. Well, not us saying this, but the dipping ratings of the show from the past few weeks have led to these observations by the viewers. On the TRP day today, the show has opened to a record low of 0.9 points since its launch. While the show's ratings had been low for months now, this week around, Kumkum Bhagya has recorded lowest trps ever since its launch.

Ofcourse there can be multiple reasons that have led to this, primarily, the audience of the show missing the old cast. But looks like, the viewers are absolutely unhappy with the new cast too and have stopped watching the show. While Pranali comes with a loyal fan base (thanks to her stint in YRKKH), who have been very supportive of the actress' new stint, looks like, the viewers of Kumkum Bhagya have not opened their arms for her.

On X (formerly twitter) viewers of Kumkum Bhagya, slamming the new cast have expressed their disappointment. ''0.9 #kumkumbhagya 😂🤣 the downfall is real #zeetv,'' wrote on user. another user wrote, ''The show was already dead with gen 3 but gen 4 buried it 100 feet under ground lmao #KumkumBhagya.''

Questioning Pranali's decision to take up the show, one user wrote, ''#PranaliRathod signing up for #KumkumBhagya right after #Durga’s abrupt end seemed like a bad call from the start. A mediocre script, a less charismatic ML and no major promos for the gen leap-this serial was destined to flop. She should’ve taken a break before her next big.'' ''Your fav is all over social media but her show is struggling on life support fish ,keep clinging to buzz lists while trp continues giving her show reality checks .Trending online while flopping on TV that's called irrelevance #KumkumBhagya,'' another lashed out.
