Kriti Sanon's Adipurush appreciation post leaves fans in awe - Who is her 'Jaan'?

The release of the highly anticipated film "Adipurush," starring Prabhas, is just around the corner, creating immense excitement among fans. As the big day draws closer, Kriti Sanon, one of the lead actors in the film, took to her social media handle to express her appreciation for her character and someone special in her life.

On Monday, Kriti shared an appreciation post on her social media account, teasing her fans and followers. 

She posted a photo of her character in the film, Janaki, and added another special picture. While many expected it to be a photo of her on-screen turned real-life partner, Prabhas, it turned out to be someone else close to her heart—her mother.

Kriti shared a throwback black and white picture of her mother, Geeta Sanon, and captioned it, "Geeta Maa... My Jaan." This heartfelt gesture from the actress touched the hearts of her fans, who quickly responded by double-tapping the image and leaving flattering comments. 

Directed by Om Raut, "Adipurush" is a cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana. Prabhas plays the role of Raghav, while Kriti portrays the character of Janaki. Saif Ali Khan takes on the role of the antagonist, Ravana. With a reported budget of Rs 500 crore, "Adipurush" is considered one of the biggest films made in the country.

The film has been generating immense buzz and anticipation due to its star-studded cast, grand scale, and the epic nature of the story. Fans are eagerly awaiting its release on June 16, 2023, to witness this larger-than-life cinematic experience.
