Latest reports are saying that the artiste could have been saved if CPR had been administered quickly, according to a doctor who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

During Tuesday's concert, the singer was roaming around and dancing with the audience, which prompted extreme excitement, resulting in a blockage of blood flow and cardiac arrest. As a result, KK passed out and suffered a heart attack.

The doctor said to PTI, "The vocalist had 80 per cent blockage in the left main coronary artery and small blockages in various other arteries and sub-arteries. None of the blockades were 100 per cent."

At Kolkata's Rabindra Sadan, KK's body was honoured with a gun salute. Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, was also present at Sadan to offer her respects. KK was one of the most diverse singers in the music industry. He has performed superhit songs in a variety of languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Bengali.
