Kitani Mohabbat Hai on NDTV Imagine

Tellybuzz was first to break the news of Ekta Kapoor’s new show on NDTV Imagine in which Dimple Jhangiani plays a pivotal role. This first project of Ekta's was earlier titled ‘Kabhi Kabhie Isse Junoon Kehte Hai’, but now it has been changed to ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’. Now we give more insight on the story line and on the leads of the show.

According to our khabroo, “Dimple’s character is Natasha, same as we saw in Kuchh Is Tarah. She will be essaying the parallel lead’s role. She is a girl from a well-to-do family and she is madly in love with the lead.”.

“A new lad Karan Kundra has been finalized as the male lead of the show”, adds our source from the production house.

“Natasha is a pampered girl, yet straight forward, who is very conscious about her look. Karan is her childhood love and she is very passionate about the love of her life and can do anything for him”, explains our source.

Ekta Kapoor has held an extensive audition to find her new face to play the female lead in the show. “Chethna Pandey has been short listed for the role, but the search is still on. If we do not get a better option, then Chethna will be finalized”, states our source. As reported earlier, the story will be about four sisters of which all the four actors will be fresh faces.

The show is supposed to go on air in the first week of December. We tried contacting Dimple on this, but she refused commenting, "We are not allowed to speak anything as per the contract. I cannot reveal anything. To know more contact the channel."
