Kim Soo-Hyun's troubles mount as late Kim Sae-Ron's friends prepare to testify on underage relationship

Queen Of Tears actor Kim Soo-Hyun is desperately struggling to save his reputation as evidence of him being an alleged paedophile increases by the day. After his press conference where he denied dating an underage late Kim Sae-Ron, the Garo Sero Research Institute released a number of pictures. They were allegedly from the time when she was below 18. Fans have found evidences that corroborate her pictures from the time when she was a minor. Kim Soo-Hyun broke down in tears in front of the reporters, and has become a meme material for netizens. The press conference seemed to have further damaged his case.

Kim Soo-Hyun has filed a lawsuit of 12 billion Korean won (around Rs 70 crores) on the family of Kim Sae-Ron. Now, Pannchoa has shared a clip from a Korean news channel with the report that around eight of Kim Sae-ron’s friends have agreed to testify that she was indeed dating Kim Soo-Hyun when she was a minor. Their relationship lasted for six long years ending in 2020. Kim Soo-Hyun has said they dated from 2019 to 2020 when she was a legal adult. His comment that they did not have sex when she was underage has made it to western headlines.

Kim Sae-Ron died in her Seoul apartment on February 16, 2025. Her friend came to her place and found that she has committed suicide. No autopsy was reportedly done on the body so there is no clarity on whether she died on 16 or had passed away before. The post-mortem has not been shared on the public space. Her parents via the Garo Sero Research Institute sought an apology from Kim Soo-Hyun for dating their daughter when she was a minor, and pressurizing her to pay off the amount of 700,000 korean won that caused her immense mental stress.
