Kian's Bizarre BnB: Desis slam Kian for misleading Jin about India with his 'stereotyped', 'gross' comments

BTS Jin has proved himself as the true king of variety shows. His Run Jin series has been a hit with even Park Hyung-Sik coming in as a guest. Kim Hee-Min or Kian’s show Kian’s Bizarre BnB is being watched all over the globe mainly due to the presence of Kim Seok-jin. On the show, Kian has mentioned India a lot. Whenever there was a huge issue or the team faced any inconvenience, Kian said they could manage saying he had heard these tricks in India. He ate with his hands almost using his entire palm. And in one scene, we can see him stop clothes with his feet saying he saw it in India.

Many Indian BTS fans too are watching the show. This has left them rather disappointed. They feel the kind of image Kian has projected of India in the mind of Kim Seok-jin is stereotyped, and will dissuade BTS from every coming here. Kian was in India where he visited places like Benaras, Amritsar and Ladakh. The trip was not a luxury one and he did have some very local experiences. However, the constant stereotyping that India is backward, poor and rustic has offended desi BTS fans immensely. Kian is facing the flak on social media…

Kian had come to India with DEX for an MBC show. DEX is popular after his stint on Singles Inferno. They visited the Wagah Border of Amritsar, attended a wedding in Uttar Pradesh and also wrestled with local pehelwans. The two even went upto Ladakh where people recognized DEX from his work on the dating show. Fans had liked it as Kian genuinely seemed to be trying to get involved with the people and culture.

BTS Jin has announced his solo tour from July to August. He will be travelling to Japan, the US and Amsterdam in Europe.
