Launched earlier this year in February, Jaadu Teri Nazar brought together two familiar faces—Khushi Dubey and Zayn Ibad Khan—who had previously won over audiences in the successful show Aashiqana. Produced by Gul Khan under 4 Lions Films, the show combined supernatural elements with romance and quickly gained a loyal viewership. Its central pairing, Gauri and Vihaan, popularly referred to as #GauriHaan by fans, was one of the highlights of the series. However, despite building steady momentum and social media popularity, the show is now set to go off air, leaving both cast and viewers surprised.
Speaking about the development, Khushi Dubey shared her shock over the decision. “I was shocked actually. I was not expecting it. We were all taken aback. There was absolutely no hint or expectation of it going off air because that very day, TRP rose. We were all expecting a hike in TRP in the coming weeks as well. People were loving my and Zayn’s chemistry, and they loved GauriHaan. #GauriHaan was trending a week back.”
Khushi revealed that it was the producer Gul Khan who informed her about the show wrapping up. The news came as a personal blow to her, as she considers the team like family. “Gul ma’am feels like family to me. This team is essentially my family. I worked on Aashiqana with them, and it was a tremendous success for all of us.”

Addressing the popularity of her onscreen pairing with Zayn, Khushi added, “For me and Zayn, it was like a breakthrough in terms of a hit and viral chemistry. We were all over Instagram and had the same fan base for Jaadu Teri Nazar as well.”
Although the show’s abrupt end has left many fans disappointed, the lasting impression of GauriHaan and the cast’s bond with viewers is likely to stay strong well beyond its final episode.
