Khushboo Purohit takes to acting...

Khushboo Purohit who won a lot of fans for her dancing skills in the first season of Zee TV's Dance India Dance has now taken to acting!!

The girl is seen playing the younger sister of the protagonist Ragini Khanna in the newly launched show on Star Plus, Sasural Genda Phool.

Talking about her role, Khushboo told us, "I play the character of Sanjana, the sensible girl who handles her sister Suhana (Ragini Khanna) as well as her dad, played by Mahesh Thakur".
   
Khushboo tells us that she has always been fascinated with acting, though dance is her passion. "Since childhood, I wanted to act as well as dance. So I went ahead and auditioned for this role, when I got this opportunity. It feels great to be seen in a television show. I am a complete new comer to acting, and have not taken any course".

Khushboo was seen along with her sister Bhavna Putorhit in Dance India Dance Season 1. Ask her about her sister's plans when it comes to acting, and she states, "Yes, Bhavna is also auditioning for television shows. She will definitely be seen soon, once she gets a suitable role".

Ask Khushboo whether she is glued to the second season of Dance India Dance and she quips, "Certainly. I love the contestants of this season, and my favourites are Binny Sharma, Shakti Mohan and Punit Pathak".

Khushboo also tells us that her youngest sister Purbhi Purohit will soon be part of Zee TV's Dance India Dance Junior.
