'Khamoshiyan' fame Sapna Pabbi to be a contestant on Chhoriyan Chale Gaon?

Zee TV is gearing up for its upcoming reality show Chhoriyan Chale Gaon, a rural-set format that brings together city-based women to live, work, and adapt to village life over the course of several weeks. With the concept focused on testing participants in an unfamiliar environment without modern comforts, the show is positioned as a survival-social experiment unlike any currently on air.

India Forums has exclusively learned that actor Sapna Pabbi has been approached to join the show. While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, sources suggest that conversations are underway and at an advanced stage. If finalised, this would mark Pabbi’s entry into the non-fiction television space. Chhoriyan Chale Gaon will feature 12 women from urban backgrounds who will spend over 60 days living in a traditional village setup, without access to gadgets, assistants, or stylists. Daily activities will include tasks like fetching water, cooking on chulhas, and farming. The show will be hosted by Rannvijay Singha, who is returning to reality TV after a brief gap.

Sapna Pabbi is known for her roles in Khamoshiyan, 24, Inside Edge, and Drive, and has maintained a selective profile in the entertainment space. Her possible participation is seen as a shift into more immersive and unscripted content.

Several other well-known faces are also being considered or have already been approached for the show. Names doing the rounds include Tejasswi Prakash, Krishna Shroff, Aamna Sharif, Aishwarya Khare, and popular influencer duo Chinki–Minki. Reports suggest that actors like Chahat Pandey, Nyra Banerjee, and Pooja Gor are also part of the mix, though official confirmation is awaited.
