Kat, Ajay & Big B--The Aakarshan trio

Director of her forthcoming film Rajneeti, Prakash Jha, is dazzled by her skill and dedication and has decided to cast her in his next project Aakarshan, along bigger still folks of tinsel-ville namey Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgan.

The film draws its theme from the issue of job quotes in India - and the consequential set backs to general public (read: middle class), who are neither a minority, nor the elite. Big B will essay the role of a father inspired by his own late dad the famous Hindi literate Harivansh Rai Bachchan ji, as a college principal. Kat is slotted to enact the professor's daughter. Ajay is the favorite student who will not only be Kat's love interest but also a lower caste character - thereby coming to the main agenda of the theme.
