Kartik Aaryan is one of the most loved actors, who is also touted to be a self-made star and hence enjoys a massive fan base.
On the latest episode of Aap Ki Adalat on India TV, journalist Rajat Sharma reminded him about his days when he came to Mumbai. Talking about the same, Kartik shared an anecdote on how he visited Mannat and Salman's house when he first came to Mumbai.
Kartik said, “It was actually my first day when I came to Mumbai. It was a Sunday. I have always been a fan of Shah Rukh sir. I get inspired by his story that he created his own niche and received love from the audience. So I reached Bandstand the first day thinking I'll see him wave. What happened actually was when he left, he was in his car. While leaving, he waved looking at everyone. Mujhe actually laga ki unhone mujhe dekha (I thought he looked at me).”
Further talking about the day he said that he went a little ahead and there was Galaxy Apartments. He stood outside Salman Khan's house too. But it was different there since a massive crowd gathered leading to a lathi charge. He almost ran from there escaping the sticks. Both incidents took place on the same day.
It was a weird but memorable day for me," Kartik remarked.
Kartik has a number of films in the works. He will next appear in the Rohit Dhawan film Shehzada. Kriti Sanon, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar will also be featured in the movie. The movie is scheduled to release on February 10.
Shehzada is the official Hindi remake of the Telugu movie Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, which starred Allu Arjun in the lead role. Kartik will also appear in the next untitled film from filmmaker Kabir Khan and the upcoming Captain India by Hansal Mehta.
