Kartik Aaryan opens up on comparison with Allu Arjun for Shehzada

Bollywood remakes of South films are nothing new and  Fans are most excited for the remake of South superstar Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo. The wait is almost over, as actor Kartik Aaryan will play the lead in the hindi remake of the film which is titled ‘Shehzada’.

While many fans are excited for the film's release, many others are concerned about Bollywood's focus on remake films rather than original content. However, Kartik now claims that there is no need to worry because the upcoming Telugu remake has a 'new identity.' 

During a recent interview with Film Companion, Kartik Aaryan stated that he felt "no pressure" to remake the Telugu film. Kartik also praised filmmaker Rohit Dhawan's craft and superstar Allu Arjun's superhit performance in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo during the same conversation. 

Kartik Aryan said of doing a remake of Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo, "I just don't take that pressure. I'm not thinking about whether or not I should do something that has already been done there in the South Industry. I'm not bothered by those questions... It was great to work with Rohit Dhawan."

Finally, he claimed that his upcoming film Shehzad has a completely new identity and that nothing has been lifted from Allu's action drama film. 

Meanwhile, The actor is currently prepping up for his next release Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 alongside Kiara Advani which is set to hit the theatres on 20th May 2022.
