Kartik Aaryan on working in different genres of films: I am talented

Finally, the most awaited trailer of Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was launched in Mumbai in a grand event. Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Rajpal Yadav, Bhushan Kumar, Anees Bazmee and others related to the film were present for the event.

While talking with the press, Kartik was questioned about being a part of movies belonging to different genres like comedy, drama, thriller and now a horror-comedy, so how does he put up with this.

Answering to this, the Sony Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor first quipped and said "Mai talented hu" and then further exclaimed that "its how the director sees you. If he thinks that the actor is capable of pulling off this role then we do it and its all about the story and the picture. The genre doesn't matter at all."

The film has lately garnered a lot of hype in town. It is a stand-alone follow up to Priyadarshan's 2007 horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which starred Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja, and Vidya Balan and was a retelling of the 1993 Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu. The Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor will play Rooh Baba in the film, while the Shershaah actress will play Reet. Filming for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 began in October 2019. However, due to the continued COVID-19 pandemic, the film's release has been delayed indefinitely. It was later rescheduled for March 25 but was retreated to May.

Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, Amar Upadhyay, Milind Gunaji, and Rajesh Kumar also play crucial parts in the movie. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is helmed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Anjum Khetani, and Krishan Kumar under the banners of T-Series and Cine 1 Studios.
