Kareena still the female lead in 'Singham Again'; Deepika Padukone to do a cameo

News about Singham Again, the third instalment of Singham franchise has been a constant now. From instances of when the film is officially set to begin production to the female lead casting and other things - Singham Again has indeed been the talk-of-the-town. The biggest explosion happened recently when it was confirmed that none other than Deepika Padukone has been signed on to be a part of the film opposite Ajay Devgn.

However, it seems that while that is true indeed, there is a twist to the same. A report now suggests that Padukone is a part of Singham Again but will only appear in a cameo towards the climax of the film. When it comes to the female lead of the film, it is still Kareena Kapoor, who was the female lead in Singham Returns.

Rohit Shetty had earlier revealed about Padukone being a part of the Singham world back when he was promoting his latest directorial, Cirkus.

Talking about the film and when will it roll, it is being said that the film is set to go on floors from August 2023 further aiming for an Independence Day 2024 release.

Talking about all their respective workfronts, Kapoor has multiple projects lined up in the form of The Devotion of Suspect X, another Hansal Mehta directorial and The Crew, where she co-stars Tabu and Kriti Sanon. Padukone, riding high on Pathaan's mega success will next be seen Fighter opposite Hrithik Roshan and Project K with Prabhas and coming to Devgn; after his recent directorial, Bholaa, he will next be seen in Maidaan and Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.
