'Karan will change for good' - Yuvraj Malhotra

Yuvraj Malhotra, the cool dude who has stolen many a hearts with his portrayal of Karan in Zee’s Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan talks to TellyBuzz reporter Srividya Rajesh about his character, the journey so far and much more. So read on to find out more about the charismatic actor.

What is Karan like? “Karan is a grey character, but he is good at heart. He is very affectionate towards his mother and sister. But as of now, his only motive in life is to take revenge, and see to it that he gives back in the same way, as his family had suffered. The experience being in Betiyaan is wonderful, and I am enjoying it.”

Will we see a reformed Karan soon? “Yes, Karan loves Lakshmi, and feels bad for her. In the coming track, he will realize that he was so blind in revenge, that he could not see the truth. Once he gets to know that Surayakant did not hurt his father intentionally, Karan will change for good.”

How was the experience performing in Zee Rishton Ka Utsav? “It was great. It was the first time, Karan and Lakshmi performed there as a love jodi. Otherwise, in the serial, Karan has always been serious, while Lakshmi has showered love on him, everytime. So this experience was nice, and we both had a rocking chemistry as a jodi”, says the satisfied actor. Hopefully, this chemistry should carry on after Karan and Lakshmi unite, isn't it?. “Ya, the audience will see the real jovial and naughty side of Yuvraj later, as the chemistry between Karan and Lakshmi flourishes", says the actor.

We are sure all of you would have taken a sigh of relief after reading what Yuvraj had to say. The handsome hunk has let the cat out of the bag, and now we look forward to seeing the new and improved Karan.
