Karan Veer Mehra on why is he returning to 'Ziddi Dil' just as it is set to go off-air

Sab TV's Ziddi Dil Maane Na got one last hurrah before off-air where after it was initially scheduled to go off-air on May 22nd but it is now going off-air on 4th June 2022.

The show, as one would remember, had an interesting cameo earlier where actor Karan Veer Mehra was roped in to play Koel's (Simple Kaul) abusive husband. The actor, even though had a short stint, managed to make a huge impact and was immensely appreciated for his role and performance.

Now, with the show going off-air soon, Mehra is set to return one last time where he said that he is both excited and nervous as it is time to prove things all over again. When asked as to why did he agree to enter a show that is set to wrap soon, he said that when he needed work, the producers were kind enough to not just give him work but also write a great role for him. Now when they need him, how can he not be there for them! He mentioned that he is a team player and as one says, it is not over till it is over.

On the show ending, he said that it definitely feels bad to start something as an actor which is ending soon. But the reassuring part about it is that he has played a character before and it was received well.

Concluding on talking about if he lost interest in the character, he said that, in fact, to recreate the excitement of a charismatic character of Abhey is even more.
