Karan Sharma quits Pavitra Rishta!

Our source says, "The character of Sunny didn't shape up as it was supposed to be. This is what made Karan decide to put down his papers to which the production house too agreed."

TellyBuzz spoke to Karan, who confirmed the news saying, "The character was good but it was not shaping up in the right way. That's why I told the production house that I will be quitting the show as I am getting better opportunities and the production house agreed as I was getting something better."

We asked him about his experience of being a part of Balaji Productions' Pavitra Rishta. He said, "It was a good experience being a part of the show. I have got a lot of recognition through the show as Sunny. I went to my hometown recently and everyone was recognizing me as Sunny. Pavitra Rishta is a very good show and one gets a good recognition being a part of the show but as an actor there was not much scope for my character."

Talking about his future plans, Karan says, "I have few projects in hand and I am looking forward to go ahead with it. Let's see how and where life will take me now."

Karan is serving his notice period for now while a suitable replacement is found for him.
