Karan Oberoi’s father Hospitalised!

Actor Karan Oberoi was taken into custody over an alleged rape case filed against him by an astrologer. After number of bail plea hearings and rejections, the actor was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on Friday. However, another unfavourable event has hit the family as the actor’s father is not keeping well.

According to reports, Karan’s close friend and actress, Pooja Bedi had planned to host a dinner for him. However, they had to cancel the plan after Karan’s father Brigadier BJS Oberoi fell sick and was rushed to the Army hospital in Colaba.

Talking to a portal, Karan’s sister Gurbani revealed, “Karan hasn’t recovered from his ordeal. He breaks down every now and then, and that has affected our father, who was already unwell.”

About the case, almost a month ago, Karan was arrested after a tantrik-cum-healer filed an alleged rape case against him. He was later taken into judicial custody of 14 days. After his bail plea was rejected by the Sessions Court, his team moved to the Bombay High Court, which finally granted him bail on Friday.
