Karan Johar signs Sidharth Malhotra for action franchise 'Yodha'

Actor Sidharth Malhotra has definitely witnessed quite a rollercoaster of a career so far. The actor, after having a belter of a debut with Student of the Year and doing some fine films ahead witnessed a massive slump. With one flop after the other, the actor's potential and box-office prowess questioned multiple times owing to failures being constant.

But all that seem to have just fade away as Malhotra achieved immense critical acclaim and love from viewers as well with his latest release, Shershaah. Suddenly, the actor has witnessed a resurgence of sorts and gas multiple films in his kitty coming up.

On that note, he has signed on for yet another film and this time, it's a franchise. Malhotra will be leading the way with the action franchise, 'Yodha' that is produced by Karan Kohar and Shashank Khaitaan.

The film is said to be directed by two directors, Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. The teaser also confirmed its release date in the form of 11th November 2022. It also confirmed that the two female leads will be announced soon.
