Kanika Kapoor's Missing friend Found; Tested Negative for COVID-19!

Kanika Kapoor has stirred up a storm after she returned to India a few weeks ago. The singer was reportedly tested positive for coronavirus and was later seen socializing at several public events, which might have possibly infected several others around her. 

Her untraceable friend who was known to be with her at Taj Hotel at one of the gatherings has been found. A recent report identified him as Ojas Desai and he is currently under home quarantine in Mumbai after being ‘Tested Negative for COVID-19.’ Furthermore, the medical report of this Mumbai-based entrepreneur has also surfaced on the internet. 

According to the reports from PTI the Lucknow Police was on the lookout of Desai, as he was the only one out of 260 people who Kanika interacted with, that they could not track. Chief medical officer (CMO) Dr. Narendra Agarwal was quoted saying that they could not trace him as they did not have his exact address in Mumbai. He was reported to have been with Kanika at Taj Hotel and left on March 16.

In his medical report by Kasturba Hospital in Mumbai, apart from his name Ojas Desai, age 41, his date of admission and discharge has been mentioned as 22 March.

The medical report gives an overview of the discharge summary and elaborates several pointers such as ‘close contact with COVID positive patient’, ‘asymptomatic’ and ‘negative’ for COVID-19 are mentioned, apart from being suggested ‘strict home quarantine for 14 days.’

Apart from the ‘Proud to protect Mumbaikars: Home quarantined’ stamp till 04/04/2020, he has also been asked to visit again if any symptoms appear.

Meanwhile, singer Kanika Kapoor is known to be quarantined at Lucknow’s Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS). Apart from that, Kanika has once again struck with bad news as the singer is once again tested positive for contagious diseases after her family raised concern over the first report.
