Kangana Ranaut showers praises on Javed Akhtar as she shares an old video
Kangana Ranaut took to her social media account to praise Javed Akhtar's remarks regarding the 26/11 terrorist attack.
Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut has always spoken her mind out.The actor, who stays more in the news for her controversies than for her movies often finds herself in the eye of a storm, due to her (in) famous statements against colleagues from the industry. Well all us are aware of her tiff with lyricist Javed Akhtar over the defamation case. Well for a change, the actress has now showered praises on Javed Akhtar.
The Manikarnika actress recently expressed her gratitude for author and lyricist Javed Akhtar's remarks regarding the 26/11 terrorist tragedy in Mumbai on her Twitter account. When requested to bring home messages of peace when in Pakistan to attend an event, the prolific author responded that he is fully aware that the criminals are still in Pakistan because he personally saw and witnessed the events of September 11, 2001.
Kangana, who was earlier involved in a legal battle with the writer, retweeted this video and wrote, "Jab main Javed saab ki poetry sunti hoon toh lagta tha yeh kaise Maa Swarsati ji ki in pe itni kripa hai, lekin dekho kuch toh sachchai hoti hai insaan mein tabhi toh khudai hoti hai unke saath mein … Jai Hind @Javedakhtarjadu saab… Ghar mein ghuss ke maara .. ha ha (I was a fan of his poetry earlier, but now, I feel that he carries a lot of truth and purity with him.)"
He uttered in Urdu: "The assailants did not hail from Egypt or Norway. You shouldn't take offence if an Indian complains about them because they are still in your nation ". He further stated that although Pakistan has previously hosted numerous Indian artistes, it has not yet done the same for us.
On the workfront, Kangana has Emergency next, which has also been directed by her. The movie will see her playing Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
