Kangana Ranaut alleges smear campaign against her film 'Tiku Weds Sheru' by 'movie mafia'

Kangana Ranaut's debut production venture, "Tiku Weds Sheru," featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur, has finally begun streaming and the response from the audience has been a mixed bag. However, Ranaut, in her reaction to the reception, has alleged that the so-called "movie mafia" is actively working to undermine her film.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, the actress shared a post on her story, expressing her concerns about the alleged efforts to sabotage "Tiku Weds Sheru." In her post, she stated, "People are sending me messages that they are loving the poetry in the film, yes, all the shayari in the film is written by me... Also, the movie mafia is doing everything to harm my film, fake reviews, and a smear campaign started even before its release."

She further continued saying, "Anyway it's streaming now please watch it for yourself or only ask your friends or people that you know about the reviews of the film if they saw it before you, don't go by paid fake trends or reviews...also do write your feedback after you watch it..Happy watching Tiku Weds Sheru."

Undeterred by the alleged tactics, Ranaut urged her followers to watch the film for themselves or seek opinions from trusted sources who have already seen it, rather than being swayed by paid fake trends or reviews. She also encouraged viewers to share their feedback after watching the film.

Directed by Sai Kabir, "Tiku Weds Sheru" stars acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and talented newcomer Avneet Kaur in the lead roles. Even before its release, the movie gained attention due to the controversy surrounding a kissing scene involving the actors, which drew criticism from netizens. This film also marks Kangana Ranaut's foray into production, and she has been actively promoting it.
