Mumbai, Nov 25 (IANS) Former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam will be seen on the silver screen for the first time in the film 'I Am Kalam', says Gulshan Grover.
'He knows about the film and he has given his nod. He has even kindly done a cameo appearance in it,' Gulshan, who is also acting in the film, told IANS.
The film is about a young boy's dream who gets inspired after watching a speech given by Kalam. It is an India-French collaboration with participation from Unicef. The film is being directed by Madhav Panda.

He might be the king of comic capers, but filmmaker David Dhawan says he is an extremely emotional person and breaks down easily.
'I'm very emotional. Even my family says that I cry like a baby and at the drop of a hat,' Dhawan told IANS.
The director, who has helmed laugh riots like 'Judwa', 'Biwi No.1', 'Hero No.1' and 'Partner' among others, is currently working on another comedy called 'Hook Ya Crook'.
Imtiaz Ali snubs rumours of making film with Ranbir
'Jab We Met' director Imtiaz Ali has slammed rumours that he is making his next film with Ranbir Kapoor.
'I have not really finalised any story with any actor as of now because I really don't know which movie I'll be making next,' said Imtiaz.
'People think that if I meet Ranbir and discuss a story, I am doing a film. I've discussed stories with all actors, actresses and cameramen and we keep on doing that as a part of our creative sensibilities,' he added.
The 38-year-old's last outing was Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer 'Love Aaj Kal'.
